CAROLINA...NORTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA...CENTRAL VIRGINIA...SOUTH
CENTRAL VIRGINIA...SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA AND WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
THE ENTIRE AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
THE MAIN CONCERN WITH THIS ACTIVITY. HOWEVER...ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE THIS AFTERNOON INTO
THE EVENING...WITH STRONG WIND GUSTS POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY AS LOW PRESSURE ALOFT LINGERS OVER THE
REGION. THE UPPER LOW WILL MOVE AWAY TUESDAY ALLOWING COVERAGE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO DECREASING SOMEWHAT. HOWEVER...BY
WEDNESDAY...A FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL DRIFT INTO THE REGION FROM THE
WEST AND THEN STALL...WITH A RESULTANT INCREASE IN SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ONCE AGAIN ACROSS THE REGION. OVERALL THE
PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER WILL BE LOW THROUGH
THE PERIOD...BUT LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE A CONCERN MOST
DAYS...ESPECIALLY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
