This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wind chill values are expected to range from 0 to -10 across much of
this region late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and again
Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A Wind Chill Advisory will
likely be needed with later forecast packages.

In addition, light snow is expected Tuesday evening through Wednesday
morning. At this time, snowfall amounts in this area are expected to
be less than 2 inches.

Light snow is expected Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with snow
amounts of 1 to 3 inches possible across this region. A Winter
Weather Advisory may be required for this area with later forecast
packages.

In addition, wind chill readings from 0 to -5 will be possible
Thursday morning, which may prompt the need for a Wind Chill
Advisory as well.
