...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 7 PM EDT SATURDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
central Virginia and south central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible this
afternoon into early this evening with spotty damaging winds and
large hail the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

In addition, thunderstorms are expected Saturday and Sunday
afternoon and evening, some of which could be strong to severe with
large hail and damaging wind gusts.

northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during the
afternoon into the early nighttime hours this weekend. Primary
threats will be large hail and damaging wind gusts.
