This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, southwest Virginia,
west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A few strong to potentially severe thunderstorms will be possible
during the afternoon into the early nighttime hours Friday into the
weekend as a series of weather disturbances move southeast through
the area. Some of the stronger storms could become severe and produce
large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Spotter activation may be needed during the next several days.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
central Virginia and south central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The combination of temperatures in the mid to upper 90s along with
high dewpoints will lead to heat index values of 100-105 degrees
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon across the Piedmont east of
the Blue Ridge.

A few strong thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon and
evening as a weather disturbance approaches the area from the
northwest.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday and Sunday afternoon
and evening, some of which could be strong to severe with large hail
and damaging wind gusts.
