This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Virginia, south
central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and
southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms this afternoon may become strong, with an isolated
threat for damaging winds and large hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Several periods of heavier showers are possible Saturday through
Monday. 2 to 4 inches of rain is forecast, and this rain may lead to
rises on streams, creeks and rivers. If this amount of rain
transpires, minor flooding will be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

and northwest North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms this afternoon may become strong to severe, with
isolated damaging winds and hail possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Several periods of heavier showers are possible Saturday through
Monday. 2 to 4 inches of rain is forecast, and this rain may lead to
rises on streams, creeks and rivers. If this amount of rain
transpires, minor flooding will be possible.

In addition, a few thunderstorms Saturday could be strong to severe,
with isolated damaging wind gusts the main threat.
