24 hour basin average rainfall ending 8:00 AM Tuesday was a quarter
to three quarters of an inch over all river basins. Locally higher
amounts of one to four inches fell in scattered thunderstorms
within the Yadkin and New River Basins. Forecast rainfall ending
8:00 AM Wednesday will be a tenth of an inch or less over all river
basins. An additional quarter to a half an inch may fall during
Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Impacts on area river stages
over the next three days will be minor as levels will experience
some slight rises but should stay below flood stages.
