A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

  James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge...

At 1105 PM EDT, marine observations reported showers, producing
winds to around 40 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from near Cobham Bay to Dominion Pier to Willoughby Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
