...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ERIE...SOUTHEASTERN
NIAGARA...SOUTHERN ORLEANS...NORTHERN GENESEE AND SOUTHWESTERN MONROE
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 335 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Pendleton to Greece.
Movement was east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and locally heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Greece, Clarence, Chili, Batavia, Amherst, Brockport, Gates-North
Gates, Pendleton, Pembroke, Spencerport, Akron, Byron, Scottsville,
Churchville, Oakfield, Riga, Clarendon, Alabama, Bergen, and Corfu.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 47 and 48A.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rain from multiple storms passing over the same area will
result in pockets of one inch rainfall amounts in under an hours
time. This could produce localized poor drainage flooding and
significant ponding on roadways. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
