...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Bexar
and southwestern Comal Counties through 1245 AM CDT...

At 1206 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cross Mountain, or 11 miles south of Boerne, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, San Antonio Int
Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Windcrest, Bulverde,
Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, The Dominion,
Government Canyon State Natural Area, Timberwood Park, Leon Springs,
Spring Branch, Converse, and Castle Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
