Through 1 pm, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will
continue to move across the island chain and its surrounding waters
to the northeast to east at 25 to 30 knots. Mariners in the vicinity
of this activity can expect wind gusts up to 35 knots, blinding
downpours, and occasional lightning strikes. Stay tuned to NOAA
