Overnight, thunderstorms continued throughout the overnight, with
a few strong to severe storms. Lows were in the mid to upper 40s
across western Nebraska into the Sandhills. Across north central
Nebraska temperatures were slightly warmer with lows in the low to
mid 50s. Winds switched to the northwest overnight and became
stronger around 15 to 25 mph and gust up to 30 mph.

Today, winds will continue to increase out of the northwest around
25 to 35 mph with gust of 50 to 60 mph. Highs will be in the mid
50s to low 60s across much of the area, a few locations across
north central Nebraska, could reach the upper 60s. Showers and
even a few thunderstorms will continue to be possible throughout
the day.
