Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. Elsewhere high pressure will dominate today, then shift E of the waters tonight. A weak cold front will approach the northern Mid-Atlantic coast Mon, slowly move SE over the N waters Mon night into Tue, then stall over the central waters Tue night. The front will then lift N as a warm front across the central and N waters Wed into Wed night as developing low pressure passes N of the area.
