...SNOWFALL REPORTS...

A Spring storm brought widespread precipitation to the region over
the past few days. The northeast winds associated with this system
was the perfect set-up for an extreme upslope scenario. As a result,
highest snowfall amounts occurred on the east slopes of the Wind
River Mountains, Lander Foothills, and Casper Mountain. Significant
snowfall and gusty winds also brought localized whiteout conditions
to the Interstate 80 Corridor Wednesday and Wednesday night. Over a
foot of snow fell along portions of I-80 during that time.
