...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in West
Virginia...Ohio...

  Ohio River At Pomeroy affecting Mason and Meigs Counties.

For the Ohio River...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Pomeroy.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 46.0 feet, Pomeroy parking lots and the river
  ampitheater are flooded along river. Main street starts to flood.
  Some secondary roads are flooded due to backwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this morning and continue falling to 29.7 feet Friday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 46.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    47.0 feet on 03/29/1870.
