WEDNESDAY EVENING...STORM TOTAL RAINFALL BY TONIGHT WILL RANGE

* PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND MISSOURI...INCLUDING THE
  FOLLOWING AREAS...IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...BOURBON...CHEROKEE
  AND CRAWFORD. IN MISSOURI...BARTON...BENTON...CAMDEN...
  CEDAR...DADE...DALLAS...HICKORY...JASPER...LACLEDE...MARIES...
  MILLER...MORGAN...PHELPS...POLK...PULASKI...ST. CLAIR AND
  VERNON.

* THROUGH THIS EVENING

* TWO TO FIVE INCHES OF RAIN IS FORECAST WITHIN THE FLASH FLOOD
  WATCH AREA. THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING EXCESSIVE
  RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO TRAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
  KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS TONIGHT...WITH ADDITIONAL
  STORMS EXPECTED DURING THE DAY THURSDAY.

* FLASH FLOODING RISKS ARE INCREASING OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
  KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS THROUGH TODAY. FLOODING IN THIS
  REGION TYPICALLY CONSISTS OF SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS FLOODING
  LOW LYING AREAS...INCLUDING LOW WATER CROSSING AND ACTUAL
  ROADWAYS.

ANYONE THAT HAS INTERESTS WITHIN THE OSAGE...LITTLE OSAGE...
SAC...MARMATON...POMME DE TERRE...AND NIANGUA RIVER BASINS...
SHOULD MONITOR FUTURE WARNINGS AND STATEMENTS TODAY.
