THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  BARRY COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...

* UNTIL NOON CDT.

* AT 546 AM CDT...THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INDICATED THAT
  MINOR FLOODING WAS OCCURRING ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA DUE TO
  HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THE LAST FEW DAYS. GAUGES ON FLAT CREEK
  INDICATE THAT MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING. ROUTE C NEAR FLAT
  CREEK IS CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING MINOR FLOODING.
  LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...CASSVILLE...EXETER...MONETT...
  PURDY...ROARING RIVER STATE PARK...SELIGMAN...WASHBURN AND WHEATON.
  CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
  SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING
OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
