  DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
  NORTHWESTERN GREENE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
  SOUTHWESTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...
  WESTERN POLK COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...

* UNTIL 200 PM CDT WEDNESDAY.

* AT 743 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. RAINFALL RATES OF  ONE TO
TWO INCHES PER HOUR HAVE BEEN COMMON WITH THE STORMS. FLEMINGTON
MISSOURI REPORTED 1.35 INCHES IN AN HOUR WITH THESE STORMS.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING.
  LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...ASH GROVE...EL DORADO
  SPRINGS...EVERTON...FAIR PLAY...GREENFIELD...HUMANSVILLE...
  MORRISVILLE...STOCKTON STATE PARK...STOCKTON AND WALNUT GROVE.
  CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
  SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.

ROUTE K AT TURNBACK CREEK WEST OF EVERTON...
ROUTE M AT BEAR CREEK EAST OF STOCKTON...
ROUTE J AT BRUSH CREEK 6 MILES WEST OF COLLINS...
FARM ROAD 22 AT ASHER CREEK 6 MILES EAST OF WALNUT GROVE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING
OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
