...THE FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR
BARRY...CHRISTIAN...DOUGLAS...HOWELL...MCDONALD...OZARK...SOUTHERN
TEXAS...SOUTHERN WEBSTER...SOUTHERN WRIGHT...STONE AND TANEY
COUNTIES...

AT 1148 PM CDT...THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS INDICATED THAT MULTIPLE LOW WATER CROSSINGS
ARE FLOODED AND CLOSED DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED
WEDNESDAY EVENING. EVEN THOUGH THE RAINFALL IS ENDING...
FLOODING WILL CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY MORNING FROM EXCESS RUN OFF
FROM THE HEAVY RAINFALL.

RUNOFF FROM THIS RAIN IS CAUSING FLOODING. CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW
WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF
FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. DO NOT
ENTER THE WATER. TURN AROUND AND MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE
FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER
BEGINS RISING.
