...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

  Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.

  Osage River at Taberville affecting Vernon and St. Clair Counties.

For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Marmaton River...including Nevada...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 800 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marmaton River near Nevada.

* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs at the gage site.
  Flood waters affect the Old U.S. Highway 71 Bridge North of Nevada
  and the south bound lane of Highway 71 near the junction of
  Douglas Branch and the Marmaton River.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 28.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 4.4 feet Monday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    25.4 feet on 04/12/2008.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 48.0 feet, flood waters impact county roads west of
  Interstate 49, along the Little Osage River. Especially, low areas
  along Route D, Route V, and Route WW, or near the communities of
  Stotesbury and Metz are affected by flood waters.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 47.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 49.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 31.3 feet Monday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    47.2 feet on 03/21/1984.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. B Highway 2.5 miles
  east of Rich Hill in the vicinity of the Bates County Drainage
  Ditch is under several feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 34.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 34.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.7
    feet this evening.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    36.1 feet on 05/04/2017.
