...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

  Little Osage River at Fulton affecting Bourbon County.

For the Little Osage River...including Fulton...Major flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Little Osage River at Fulton.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, major flooding begins at the gage site.
  Flood waters reach the bottom of Old Highway 69 bridge at the
  previous gage site.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:15 AM CDT Sunday was 29.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.0
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    30.0 feet on 07/01/1969.
