FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
148 PM CST SAT JAN 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...

LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE FOR THE PLAINS THROUGH SOUTHERN ARKANSAS
BRINING A GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY, ESPECIALLY
OVER SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

ANOTHER SYSTEM AND A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE WILL INCREASE WINDS
OVER THE AREA TUESDAY BUT CHANCES FOR RAIN WILL BE LOW.
GRASSLAND AREAS WILL SEE AN INCREASED FIRE DANGER DUE TO THE
WINDS.

AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF COLDER BUT DRY WEATHER IS THEN EXPECTED
LATE IN THE WEEK.
