FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
246 PM CST SAT DEC 3 2016

.DISCUSSION...

RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THIS EVENING AS AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES OVERHEAD. GENERALLY LIGHT AMOUNTS
OF LESS THAN A QUARTER OF AN INCH CAN BE ANTICIPATED.

THERE WILL BE A BRIEF BREAK SUNDAY AND INTO MONDAY BEFORE LOW
PRESSURE MOVES NORTHWARD INTO THE MID SOUTH ON TUESDAY WHICH
SHOULD INCREASE RAIN CHANCES ONCE AGAIN...ESPECIALLY FOR THE
EASTERN OZARKS.

AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL BRING MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES INTO THE
AREA BY MIDWEEK NEXT WEEK WITH SOME LIGHT SNOW NOT OUT OF THE
QUESTION.
