Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
959 AM CST Mon Dec 11 2017

...Red Flag Warning Today....

.DISCUSSION...

A dry cold front will pass through the region today. Winds will
shift from the southwest to northwest with the frontal passage
with gust up to 35 mph. These winds combined with humidity
values in the 15 to 25 percent range will result in critical fire
weather conditions.

Red Flag conditions are expected to be met this afternoon, and
a Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10 am to 6 pm today.

Limited to elevated fire weather conditions will persist
through the week as the dry weather pattern continues.
