Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
357 AM CST Mon Dec 11 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A dry front will pass through the region by this afternoon today.
Behind the front winds will switch to the northwest and become
gusty, with gust up to 35 mph occurring. A drier air mass will
spread into the area this afternoon, but temperatures will not
drop off this afternoon behind the front. As a result humidity
values will drop into the 15 to 25 percent range this afternoon.
Red Flag conditions are expected to be met this afternoon, and
a Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10am to 6pm today.

Limited to elevated fire weather conditions will persist
through the week as the dry weather pattern continues.
