Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
246 PM CDT Thu Oct 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Mild and dry conditions are expected for most areas tonight
through Saturday afternoon. An increase in Gulf moisture will
bring humidity levels up tonight and tomorrow.

This increase in humidity will set the stage for a round of
showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening into Sunday morning.

A few of these storms will become severe for areas west of
Highway 65.

Widespread rainfall amounts will range from three quarters of
an inch to two and a half inches. The heaviest rainfall
amounts are expected in southeast Kansas and far western
Missouri.
