.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over the area today will shift off to the southeast.
South to southwest winds will increase Friday with an approaching
dry front. Expect a heightened fire danger, mainly for southeast Kansas
into adjacent areas of southwest Missouri where winds will be the
strongest.

High pressure will move across over the weekend. Strong south winds
are expected to develop Monday with warm temperatures and dry
conditions. A front will move through during the Tuesday-Wednesday
time frame with a chance for some light rain.
