Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
320 AM CDT Sun May 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Skies have cleared behind the frontal boundary that
pushed through the area yesterday. As winds shift to
a west or northwest direction, temperatures will
struggle to warm out of the mid and upper 60s today.
Dry conditions are expected through early week. Winds
should begin to transition to a more southerly direction
on Monday out ahead of our next cold frontal boundary
due into our region by Tuesday or early Wednesday.
