Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
255 AM CST Sun Feb 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Warmer conditions will occur today into Monday as gusty
southerly winds occur. Dry conditions will be in place today
through the afternoon hours resulting in elevated fire weather
conditions across much of the area.

Sunday night into Monday scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm will
be possible possible. A front will then sag into the area mid week bringing
better widespread rain chances and heavy rainfall Monday night into Wednesday.
A light wintry mix may be possible on the back side of this weather system later
Tuesday through Wednesday night. Another round of moderate to heavy rainfall may
be possible at the end of next week.
