Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
230 PM CDT Sun Apr 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Fair weather is expected Monday and Tuesday as upper level
ridging builds into the region.

However, by Tuesday evening, thunderstorms are expected to
develop and track across southern Missouri during the
overnight hours. A few of these storms could become severe
with large hail and damaging wind gusts being the primary
risks with the most intense storms.

Additional heavy rain is possible toward late next week.
