FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN/CENTRAL MO AND SE KS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
401 AM CDT MON SEP 15 2014

.DISCUSSION...

RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE TODAY AND TONIGHT AS A FRONTAL
SYSTEM APPROACHES THE REGION FROM THE NORTH. THIS FEATURE
WILL TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON...AND
CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT OVER FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

SOME LOCATIONS OVER WEST CENTRAL AND CENTRAL MISSOURI MAY
STAY DRY...WITH MOST OF THE RAIN MORE FOCUSED OVER SOUTHERN
MISSOURI.

ADDITIONAL RAIN IS POSSIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.

A WARMING TREND IS THEN EXPECTED AS WE ADVANCE TOWARD THE
UPCOMING WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE 80S CAN NOT BE
RULED OUT.
