Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
205 PM CDT Fri Sep 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Upper level ridge will continue the unseasonably warm conditions
through Saturday. By Sunday, the ridge begins to break down and
this may allow for a few showers/storms, although most areas will
remain dry. A cold front will approach the area early next week
with rain chances increasing from later Monday into Wednesday.
This front will also usher in some cooler air, closer to seasonal
normals with highs in the 70s Wednesday through Friday.
