THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
  LIMITED FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

 NON THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
 TONIGHT AROUND THE SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN AREA.

 SOME BRIEF PATCHY FOG CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES OVERNIGHT
 ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

 MEANWHILE...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
 ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS FOR MUCH
 OF THE NIGHT BEFORE BEGINNING TO DIMINISH FROM WEST TO EAST
 DURING THE PREDAWN HOURS. CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND
 LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE MAIN POTENTIAL HAZARDS
 WITH THESE STORMS. A FEW STORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE SMALL
 HAIL...WITH A LIMITED THREAT FOR HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF
 QUARTERS ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
 FAR SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

 THERE IS A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO POTENTIALLY
 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY...MAINLY IN AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY
 65. IF SEVERE STORMS DEVELOP...THE PRIMARY RISK WILL BE LARGE
 HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE
 WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
