THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  HEAT INDICES WILL REACH THE MID TO UPPER 90S OVER WESTERN
  MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS TODAY.

  AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARD
  THE REGION LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WHILE
  THE EXACT TRACK OF THIS COMPLEX OF STORMS REMAINS SOMEWHAT
  UNCERTAIN...AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM WARSAW TO
  LEBANON TO LAKE OF THE OZARKS APPEAR MOST LIKELY TO SEE THESE
  STORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY
  WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

  AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S CAN BE
  EXPECTED AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME
  SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

  MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM
  WEDNESDAY INTO THE UPCOMING FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND.
  THERE IS A LIMITED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ACROSS THE
  AREA WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. FLOODING WILL ALSO BE A
  CONCERN FOR THOSE AREAS THAT SEE MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF STORMS.
