  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY EVENING ACROSS CENTRAL
  MISSOURI...GENERALLY ALONG A LINE FROM WARSAW AND VERSAILLES TO
  SALEM. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN BE
  EXPECTED.

  HEAT INDICES WILL BE IN THE MID 90S OVER PORTIONS OF THE AREA
  THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

  AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REACH THE MID AND UPPER 90S BY
  SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY THROUGH
  FRIDAY.
