OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 90S TO AROUND 100
  EARLY THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

  HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND
  ACROSS THE REGION. HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO
  110 DEGREES ON AN AFTERNOON BASIS.

  ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN SATURDAY
  AFTERNOON ACROSS MAINLY THE EASTERN MISSOURI OZARKS. THERE WILL
  THEN BE A BETTER CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS FROM LATE THIS
  WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A COLD FRONT SETTLES INTO THE
  REGION.
