OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND
THE EASTERN OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...GENERALLY ALONG
AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM FORT SCOTT TO SPRINGFIELD TO WEST PLAINS.
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS UP TO 50
MPH...AND SMALL HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REACH THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S
THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY TUESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY. THERE WILL BE A LIMITED POTENTIAL FOR A FEW STRONG STORMS
WITH WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL. HEAVY RAINFALL MAY BE
POSSIBLE AND THERE WILL BE A LIMITED RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING
ESPECIALLY ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI WHERE STORMS TRAIN OVER THE
SAME AREAS.
