This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few isolated thunderstorms may be possible late this
afternoon into early this evening across southern Missouri.
Additional isolated thunderstorms will then be possible again
late tonight across southeastern Kansas into portions of the
western Ozarks. No severe weather is expected with occasional
cloud to ground lightning strikes the risk with any storms
  that can develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible at times from early
Tuesday morning into Wednesday. A few strong to marginally
severe storms will be possible, especially during the
afternoon/evening hours, but widespread severe weather or heavy
rain are not expected. Isolated storms will again be possible
  Thursday into Friday.

Better chances for more widespread showers and storms will
occur Friday night into Saturday night. There is still some
model uncertainty with this system so it will need to be
  closely monitored.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
