This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms will track across the area this afternoon
and evening, a few could linger into the overnight hours across
southern Missouri. Occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes
and brief heavy rainfall will be the main risk with any of the
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms will be possible across central Missouri Wednesday
night through Thursday night.

Thunderstorms will be possible in all locations by Friday
afternoon, and continuing through the upcoming weekend. Severe
storms will be possible Friday afternoon and night, with large
hail and damaging wind gusts the primary risks with the most
intense storms.

Flash flooding will become a possibility this weekend as a
frontal boundary stalls somewhere across northern Arkansas or
southern Missouri.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
