This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire weather potential will occur today as gusty west
to northwesterly winds of 20 to 30 mph combine with afternoon
relative humidity values between 20 to 30 percent. Winds will
gradually weaken from west to east this afternoon into early this
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated to locally significant fire weather potential will occur
again across portions of the area on Saturday. Gusty
southwesterly winds of 30 to 40 mph will combine with afternoon
relative humidity values between 25 and 30 percent Saturday.

Thunderstorm chances return to the region late Monday into
Tuesday. There will be the potential for some strong to severe
storms Monday night into Tuesday. Confidence in details are still
low at this time.

Gusty southwesterly winds will develop Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday of next week.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
