THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

 NON THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
 TONIGHT AROUND THE SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN AREA.

 SOME BRIEF PATCHY FOG CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES OVERNIGHT
 ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

 MEANWHILE...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH
 WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WILL OVERSPREAD THE OUTLOOK AREA FROM
 THE WEST THROUGH THIS EVENING AND LINGER INTO TONIGHT.
 LIMITED INSTABILITY WILL BE AN INHIBITING FACTOR TO THE
 COVERAGE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.

 HOWEVER ENOUGH INSTABILITY MAY DEVELOP ACROSS EXTREME
 SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI FOR A FEW STORMS
 TO PRODUCE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS. THERE WILL ALSO BE
 A LIMITED RISK FOR DAMAGING WIND GUSTS ACROSS FAR
 SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI AND SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS WITH ANY LINE
 SEGMENTS THAT PUSH OUT OF NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA.
 ADDITIONALLY...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY
 RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

 THERE IS A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO POTENTIALLY
 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY...MAINLY IN AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY
 65. IF SEVERE STORMS DEVELOP...THE PRIMARY RISK WILL BE LARGE
 HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE
 WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
