THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT TONIGHT INTO MONDAY.

SHOWER AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL INCREASE IN
COVERAGE TONIGHT WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL DEVELOPING OVER
SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR OF FAR WESTERN
MISSOURI AFTER MIDNIGHT. FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE MONITORED
CLOSELY AS 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD EASTWARD
ON SUNDAY...HOWEVER RAINFALL RATES WILL DIMINISH DURING THE
DAY. HEAVY RAIN WILL ONCE AGAIN DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
SUNDAY NIGHT...SPREADING EASTWARD TO HIGHWAY 65 IN MISSOURI.
WIDESPREAD RAIN AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE COMMON
WITHIN THIS REGION LEADING TO FLASH FLOODING IN AREAS THAT ALSO
RECEIVE HEAVY RAIN TONIGHT.

SCATTERED NON SEVERE STORMS ARE THEN EXPECTED THROUGH THE REST OF
THE NEXT WEEK.
