THROUGH 10 AM...RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
SLOWLY SAG SOUTHWARD ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS...AS WELL
AS WESTERN AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF MISSOURI. MOST OF THIS ACTIVITY
IS LIGHT RAIN WITH EMBEDDED HEAVIER SHOWERS WITH FREQUENT CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. RAINFALL WITH THIS ACTIVITY WILL GENERALLY BE
LESS THAN TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH PER HOUR. A BAND OF STRONGER
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR AREAS IN AND AROUND A LINE FROM
HORTON AND NEVADA IN MISSOURI TO ARCADIA KANSAS. THIS ACTIVITY
WILL POSE THE GREATEST RISK FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND HAIL TO
THE SIZE OF DIMES. RAINFALL IN THIS AREA WILL BE BETWEEN ONE
QUARTER AND THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER HOUR.
