THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* VISIBILITY...AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY TO
  NEAR ONE QUARTER OR LESS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI
  AND FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS THIS MORNING.

* IMPACTS...THE DENSE FOG WILL RESULT IN SUDDEN AND DRASTIC CHANGES
  IN VISIBILITY OVER A SHORT DISTANCE INCLUDING ALONG STRETCHES OF
  INTERSTATES 44 AND 49...AND HIGHWAY 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
