AN EF-1 TORNADO WITH ESTIMATED WINDS OF 95 MPH TOUCHED DOWN
SOUTHWEST OF MOUNT VERNON. THE TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND FOR
ABOUT 4 MILES AND WAS ABOUT 300 YARDS WIDE. A COUPLE OF
OUTBUILDINGS WERE DAMAGED AND SEVERAL TREES WERE UPROOTED.
