EF-0 TORNADO WITH WINDS OF 85 MPH TOUCHED DOWN ON THE
NORTHEAST SIDE OF THAYER. THE TORNADO WAS ABOUT 300 YARDS
WIDE AND THREE-QUARTERS OF A MILE LONG. NUMEROUS TREES WERE
UPROOTED OR DAMAGED IN A CONCENTRATED AREA ACROSS THE
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THAYER AS WELL AS MINOR DAMAGE TO HOMES
AND STRUCTURES.
