Elevated levels are expected on the following river:

The Spring River at Carthage is expected to approach flood stage and
may affect locations near the river. Flood stage is 10.0 feet. The
latest stage was 8.5 feet at 2 AM Saturday. The river may rise to
near 9.1 feet by 7 AM Sunday. People should be aware of the latest
river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

The Spring River near Waco is expected to remain near flood stage and
may affect locations near the river. Flood stage is 19.0 feet. The
latest stage was 18.4 feet at 1 AM Saturday. The river will fall to
near 14.7 feet by 7 AM Saturday. People should be aware of the latest
river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
