Significant rises are expected on the following river:

The Little Osage River near Horton. Flood stage is 41.0 feet. The
latest stage was 31.0 feet at 9 AM Monday. The river may rise to near
40.5 feet by 1 PM Tuesday. People should be aware of the latest river
levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

The Marmaton River near Nevada. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. The latest
stage was 9.5 feet at 9 AM Monday. The river may rise to near 19.0
feet by 7 AM Wednesday. People should be aware of the latest river
levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
