Significant rises are expected on the following river:

The Sac River near Caplinger Mills. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The
latest stage was 15.0 feet at 9 AM Wednesday. The river will remain between
14-15 feet for the next few days due to Stockton Dam releases.
People should be aware of the latest river levels...and prepare for
possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
