Significant rises are expected on the following river:

For the Jacks Fork at Alley Spring.  Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The
latest stage was 3.7 feet at 9 AM Friday. The river may rise to near
5.4 feet by 7 AM Saturday.

For the Marmaton River near Nevada.  Flood stage is 20.0 feet. The
latest stage was 9.9 feet at 9 AM Friday. The river may rise to near
19.4 feet by 1 PM Sunday.

For the Osage River near Schell City.  Flood stage is 30.0 feet. The
latest stage was 20.7 feet at 9 AM Friday. The river may rise to near
29.4 feet by 7 AM Tuesday.

For the Sac River near Caplinger Mills.  Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
The latest stage was 9.5 feet at 9 AM Friday. The river may rise to
near 15.6 feet by 1 PM Sunday.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
