Elevated river levels will continue on the following river:

The Osage River near Schell City. Flood stage is 30.0 feet. The
latest stage was 28.7 feet at 9 AM Tuesday. The river may fall to
near 27.8 feet by 1 PM Tuesday. People should be aware of the latest
river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
