Significant rises are expected on the following river:

The Spring River near Waco. Flood stage is 19.0 feet. The latest
stage was 10.8 feet at 10 AM Wednesday. The river may rise to near
16.8 feet by 1 AM Thursday. People should be aware of the latest
river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

The James River at Galena. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The latest stage
was 10.7 feet at 11 AM Wednesday. The river may rise to near 14.0
feet by 1 PM Thursday. People should be aware of the latest river
levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
