Significant rises are possible on the following river:

The Little Osage River near Horton. Flood stage is 41.0 feet. The
latest stage was 32.7 feet at 7 PM Sunday. The river may rise to near
39.4 feet by 7 AM Tuesday due to the expected rainfall over the next several
days. People should be aware of the latest river levels...and prepare for
possible warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
