Significant rises are expected on the following rivers:

For the Little Osage River near Horton.  Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
The latest stage was 25.4 feet at 8 PM Saturday. The river may rise
to near 40.9 feet by 7 PM Monday.

For the Osage River near Schell City.  Flood stage is 30.0 feet. The
latest stage was 9.1 feet at 8 PM Saturday. The river may rise to
near 28.2 feet by 7 PM Thursday.

These forecasts are based on recent and near term forecat rainfall.

Those with land and property flooding vulnerabilties along these
rivers are urged to monitor future forecasts for changes and possible
warnings.
