Significant rises are expected on the following rivers:

The Little Osage River at Fulton is expected to approach flood stage
and may affect locations near the river. Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
The latest stage was 13.6 feet at 8 AM Thursday. The river may rise
to near 18.2 feet by 1 PM Thursday. People should be aware of the
latest river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.

The Marmaton River at Fort Scott is expected to rise rapidly but
remain within its banks. Flood stage is 38.0 feet. The latest stage
was 27.8 feet at 8 AM Thursday. The river may rise to near 32.5
feet by 1 AM Friday. People should be aware of the
latest river levels...and prepare for possible warnings.
